24.07.2025

This year, Seriesly Berlin is further strengthening its programming team, building on the continued contributions of Program Advisors Matija Dragojević and Bastian Asdonk, both of whom played a key role in shaping the festival’s acclaimed first edition. Joining the team is Lucas Brunelli Donnard as Conference Programmer. Originally from Brazil and now based in Cologne, Lucas is a producer, director, and writer with international experience, and lectures in storytelling and digital media at the Internationale Filmschule Köln. He’s also actively involved in various international industry events. Also contributing to this year’s conference curation is Irina Ignatiew-Lemke, Founder & Managing Director of Boxworks Media, who joins as a Guest Curator. A seasoned executive in the international media and film industry, Irina has held senior roles at companies including All3Media Fiction and Red Arrow International. Her career spans high-profile productions for streamers and public broadcasters, with a focus on bold, globally resonant storytelling.

In addition, a newly established Selection Committee has been formed to identify and select the most promising and inspiring series for this year’s Seriesly Berlin Premieres program. The committee brings together leading voices from across the international screen industries:

Patrick Heidmann – Film and TV journalist and critic with contributions to FAZ, Die Zeit, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Rolling Stone, and more. He is also an experienced moderator and curator, having programmed for the Red Sea International Film Festival and served on the jury at Series Mania.

Paolo Ciccarelli – International Scripted Advisor and Head of Drama at MIA | International Audiovisual Market. Paolo is a veteran consultant specializing in scripted content development, with a client portfolio that includes major global studios and institutions.

Ioanina Pavel – Creative Producer and Co-founder of May One. Formerly at HBO Romania, Ioanina oversaw the development of standout series like Spy/Master. Her company recently premiered SUBTERAN, a Netflix original that achieved global success.
