The location

Fotografiska is the contemporary museum of photography, art and culture. With locations in Stockholm, Berlin, New York, Tallinn and Shanghai, Fotografiska exhibits world renowned artists as well as local, emerging talent. Exhibitions change almost every month to continuously inspire new perspectives. From its restaurant and bars to its parties and talks, the museum offers a social and cultural experience.

The exhibitions at Fotografiska cover 1,100 square metres. The five-storey historic building on Oranienstraße naturally offers much more space and, with around 5,500 square metres of total area plus a roof terrace, is the ideal place to implement Fotografiska’s special concept:

In addition to the exhibition rooms, numerous halls are available for workshops, dialogues with the artists, concerts, public competitions and events of all kinds.

The CineStar cinema at Kulturbrauerei is located in one of Berlin’s most significant industrial landmarks, located in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg. Since the 1990s, it has been part of the vibrant cultural area that brings together cinema, music, gastronomy, and a broad range of events under one roof. With eight theaters, screen sizes of up to 176 m², and state-of-the-art screening and sound technology, the venue can accommodate over 1,500 guests. Centrally located and deeply rooted in the cultural life of the neighborhood, this venue is centrally located within the lively Kulturbrauerei and combines industrial flair with an urban atmosphere.
