Journey to the West
Journey to the West is an anthology based on the oral history of Vietnamese immigrants in the former Eastern Bloc. The stories are based on interviews with witnesses from the Vietnamese diaspora in Europe.The project connects a colorful mosaic of genres and styles through the theme of migration, resilience and the search for a better life. Journey to the West builds upon the shared historical events, rarely seen on screen. The goal is to show the era of communism in a new, exotic context and offer representation of Asian culture in the mainstream.

Vamos
