Seriesly Berlin Pitches 2026: 18 international series projects selected

From true crime in Australia and Germany's far right to gender-affirming surgeries in the 1970s and vertical romcoms: the selection for this year's Seriesly Berlin Project Pitches is in. From Latvia and Ireland through Germany, across Europe to North and South America, and on to Australia, the 18 international projects explore self-expression, identity, friendship, family and different forms of love — rooted in very different local realities.

From a Berlin Gold Heist and Welsh Crime to São Paulo’s Art Scene, Argentine Midlife and Canadian Friendship: This year’s premieres: This year's series selection ranges from world premieres to festival favorites fresh off Series Mania and Locarno, bringing established storytellers together with exciting new voices. The screenings are open to everyone who loves series, offering audiences the opportunity not only to discover new stories on the big screen, but also to meet and engage in conversation with the creators behind them.
