Ipek Zübert, Creator and Writer of the Grimme awarded series THE MOPES (TNT/2021) has
been working as a screenwriter since 2012. In addition to the feature films “Dreiviertelmond”
and “Ein Atem”, Ipek Zübert has worked as a writer on crime and thriller series such as “Dogs of
Berlin” (Netflix/2018), “Bruder – Die Schwarze Macht” (ZDFNeo/2017), “The Next Level” (ARD/
Degeto/2024) or the Grimme Award-nominated young adult series “Die Welle” (Netflix/2019).
Her first children’s and youth film @Kalinka08 – Please get in touch! (ZDFKika), for which Ipek
Zübert developed and wrote the script in the first lockdown during the Corona pandemic, was
filmed in 2020 and was also nominated for the Grimme Award in the category Children’s and
Youth Special.
This summer, filming took place in Hamburg and Istanbul for “EVET DEDI/SHE SAID YES” (WT)
(Netflix), a romantic comedy for which Ipek Zübert wrote the script.
